Classic Pecan and Fudge Pies!

I don’t have a ton of time today, but I wanted to share a couple of recipes. I’m contributing some of the dessert to Thanksgiving dinner this year, and it doesn’t get any easier than this!

I have made both of these pies countless times. They are family/friend-shared recipes and always prove to be crowd pleasers!

A few notes:

Since I was cooking these at the same time, I set the oven to 360 and baked them both for an hour (turning them at about 35 minutes).

I used Jack Daniels for the bourbon in the pecan pie.

The pecan pie needs a deep dish crust to hold all of the filling, but you could get away with a regular crust for the fudge pie. I had two deep dish crusts, so I doubled the fudge pie recipe.

Have a wonderful, happy Thanksgiving!
