Golden Globes Red Carpet

I managed to tune in just for a minute to catch some of the Golden Globes’ red carpet show / live vicariously through all the black sequins and lace. Just from a fashion standpoint, I thought it was great to see what everyone chose within the black color palette (Everyone wore black in a gesture of solidarity against the recent exposure of sexual harassment; just google Why We Wear Black if you want more deets.) Real quick: here are a few of my favorites!

*Pictures are not my own… just some IG screenshots, so credit is due where it’s due.

TER is killing this headpiece. Man, I love it.

Penelope Cruz in Ralph and Russo. She is so cute.

Diane Kruger. She is one of my very favorite women to watch on the red carpet; her taste is exquisite. This cape and gown is Prada and 😍😍😍. (I like this as much as her blue Cannes gown from years ago… maybe more. if you haven’t seen it, it’s worth a minute.)

Such a classic Southern beauty. Reese in custom Zac Posen.

This woman (Catherine Zeta Jones) never ages. The gown is Zuhair Murad, and I love that she always puts that signature pop of emerald green in whatever she is wearing. Werk it, Cathy.

I had to include Denzel. He’s one of my favorite actors, and I think he and Paulette Washington look just about perfect.

Other noteworthy moments to check out if you have a minute…

  • Jessica Chastain’s hair is #goals.
  • Angelina Jolie’s feather sleeves look like she killed the black swan. I don’t hate it.
  • Why is Mariah Carey at the Golden Globes? Anyone?
  • Finally, Chris Hemsworth… just because he’s pretty.

Hope y’all have a great week! Grab some sequins and a glass of champagne just because life is too short not to.
